Privacy policy
Effective August 14, 2026. Pioneer Pennant Process is part of Pioneer Pennant. The short version: we store what your family types in, we use it only to run the tool for you, we sell nothing to nobody, and the delete button really deletes.
Two ways to use the tool
Without an account, your athlete's profile and recruiting log live only in your own browser (local storage on your device). When you run a fit report or draft an email, your browser sends the data to our server, the server computes the page and sends it back, and nothing is saved on our side. Clearing your browser data erases it.
With an account, we store on our server what you entered so it works across devices: the account email, a one-way scrambled version of the password (we cannot read the password itself), the athlete's profile (name, grad year, academics, positions, measurables, hitting style, intended majors, social handles, film link, and the optional NCAA ID), the recruiting log, and the plan status.
Athletes under 18
Pioneer Pennant Process is built for high school athletes working with their parents. For an athlete under 18, we require a parent or guardian to consent at signup, and we record the parent's name, email, the date, and the network address the consent came from, because that record protects your family and us. This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
What we never do
No selling or renting your information. No sharing it with schools, coaches, recruiters, or advertisers. No public athlete profiles: nobody can look your athlete up here. No ad networks, no analytics trackers, no third-party scripts. The NCAA ID, if you store one, is masked everywhere it appears on screen.
Cookies
One cookie, and only if you log in: the session cookie that keeps you signed in. It identifies your session, not your browsing. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.
Payments
Checkout and card handling are done by Stripe on Stripe's systems. Your card number never touches our server. We store only the Stripe customer reference and whether the plan is active.
The school data
Information about colleges (majors, costs, admissions, rosters, coaches) comes from public sources: the NCAA directory, the U.S. Department of Education's College Scorecard, and the schools' own public athletics sites. It describes schools, not you.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes. Sessions expire. Account data lives on a server in the United States.
Your controls
Export downloads everything we have about your athlete as one file, any time. Delete permanently removes the account, the profile, and the recruiting log, immediately, no questions asked. Both are buttons on the account page. Without an account, your data is in your browser and under your control already.
